We collect information you provide directly (email, display name, avatar) and automatically (IP address, device type, location data when you enable it).
Your location is used to show nearby messages and calculate distances. We store latitude and longitude internally but only display general area information (neighbourhood, city, country) publicly. You can revoke location access at any time through your browser or device settings.
We use local storage to remember your preferences (open tabs, filters, onboarding state). We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with service providers who help us operate the App (e.g., hosting, authentication). We may disclose data if required by law.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can update your profile in the App or contact us to request deletion of your account and associated data.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Message content is retained until deleted by the author or a moderator. Location history is not stored.
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The App is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy in the App.
